The Concrete Rose name was inspired by this beautiful poem, and that hits home for many of the less fortunate. Our goal is to able to sponsor and fund underprivileged youth in athletes to attend the Prolific Sports Academy Summer Camp.

Growing up without much but a dream and a ball has kept so many children on track. Unfortunately as they grow older and enter in to high school it is shown that many become of victim to the system and circumstances. When all that surrounds you is trouble, and all you can relate to is struggle sometimes your circle becomes filled with bad choices. Choices. It is still a choice. Many of these children are roses. They just don’t have a garden to flourish in. Concrete Rose’s mission is to have these underprivileged athletes busy during the summer months. So we can build them a garden. A community of peers they can relate to and keep their dreams of living a better life alive. Instead of having distractions and getting caught up in the wrong crowd, we want to set them up for success and put them in the direction to achieve greatness. They receive life coaching, nutrition and work out plan and summer long training that helps fuel their focus.

These kids just need a chance! A role model! And a safe escape! But most of these kids just need someone to believe in them, and help them to believe in themselves. That is the environment we are trying to provide them. We want to help them reach their full potential and motivate them to accomplish their goals. Empower them, and assist with changing their mindset and shifting their thinking to drive them to a road of recognition and reward.

I have seen so much “wasted” talent it hurts my heart. I have seen so many athletes that would have made it if the circumstances were different. Some have even lost their lives running with the wrong crowd. Lets be the change! Lets make a difference. Together we can provide scholarships and sponsor these underprivileged children. Together we give them a fighting chance to live a life they are only scared to dream. Don’t disregard the rose that grows from the concrete. Don’t look down on the damaged petals and scratches. Celebrate its tenacity to be able to grow so beautiful even in a foundation hard as stone.

All proceeds will be directly given to Prolific Sports Academy for the sponsored athlete to attend the summer program.

For qualified participants the charge to attend will be half the cost of a regular registry so we can provide as many underprivileged athletes as possible the opportunity to attend this life changing summer program.
